xx The Financier: Centares Planetary Fair - Healing Economics
February 09, 2015, 07:56:36 pm by Sydney von Ismay

Yesterday began the month long Centares Planetary Fair sponsored by Anzatan Medical, in the lovely mountainous city of Mt. Cephturion.  This year’s theme is focused on sustainable growth and emerging technologies, with the featured showcase being the fan-favorite exhibit involving cutting-edge, live, robotic-prosthetic implementation performed by Dr. Althea Keelin. Dr. Keelin is galactically renowned for her surgical skills, her extensive medical experience, and unprecedented stature in the medical field. Her announced attendance at the Fair, has seen a flood of registrations
The fair is famous for its livestock show, interactive-immersion exhibits, the competition exhibits, live shows, and organic fair food. This year’s featured exhibits at this year’s fair include:

  • the prestigious Centares Planetary Fair Sale of Champions, where exhibitors sell their champion livestock to planetary and intergalactic supporters. The animals represent the Grand Champions and 1st Runner-up in each of their respective species as selected during the Fair’s livestock show. The Centares Planetary Fair features one of the most esteemed livestock shows in the galaxy and winning a category is highly coveted.
  • a plethora of competition exhibits including but not limited to Dairy Products, Eggs, Meat, Seed and Grain, Fruits and Nuts, Flowers, Vegetables, Ale, Whiskey, Tea Leaves, and Cakes.
  • and the interactive Alazhi Regenerative Farming exhibit, sponsored by the local medical corporation, Anzatan Medical.

With a trend towards mass-urbanization across the Kingdom over the last decade, the industry and tradition of agriculture and sustainable living has become a foreign concept to most Tresarians. The generational lifestyle that originally fueled the Tresarian economy is a thing of the past, as many Tresarians have migrated from rural communities to urbanized cities in search of new opportunities and experiences. The Centares Planetary Fair is a throwback to that former way of life, that defined a generation and inspired young Centenarians from every walk of life to think that the future was full of endless possibilities and hope.

The Centares Planetary Fair is the latest in a long series of Cultural and Historical events hosted and promoted by the Tresarian Tourism Bureau, to showcase the natural beauty and the diverse cultural experiences and natural habitats found throughout Centares; and Anzatan Medical’s sponsoring of the Fair is a testament to their long-standing commitment to preserving our natural habitats and their business philosophy of do no harm. Their commitment to preserving the natural beauty and ambiance of Centares doesn’t just stop with the safe and environmentally friendly practices they utilize in the bacta harvesting process, but is considered in every interaction they have with the planet of Centares. When they construct new healing communities, they use sustainable sources of energy, minimize the horizontal construction efforts and promote vertical construction efforts, develop ways to minimize the pollution output from new constructions, and preserve natural waterways and animal habitats. This is all central part of the healing philosophy of Anzatan Medical founders, Dr. Althea Keelin and Minister Azarin Isard, that experiencing and preserving the natural habitat we are entrusted with, enlivens our own senses of well-being and promotes a mental philosophy essential to experience a full medical recovery from any ailment. Their philosophy is well accepted by the galaxy-at-large as many galactic patrons flock to Anzatan Medical clinics for life-saving or life-changing medical treatments everyday.

xx TNN: Unification Concert
February 08, 2015, 04:41:29 pm by Sydney von Ismay

It has been many days since the historic merger between the Anzatan Commonwealth and Tresario Star Kingdom into an united government body under the flag of Tikiar. To the uninformed eye it might seem sudden, but behind layers of intrigue and mystery there is a friendly history that supports this strategic move. The first seed of coexistence as one was planted when the Boonta system was stumbled upon by an opportunistic corporation that seeked maximum exploitation of the people and their planet for personal gain.

The Anzatan Commonwealth and Tresario Star Kingdom moved independently but under the same values and principles of purpose to restore the system of government and order from the chaos the corporation created. They modernized the local infrastructure and housing units on communities across the planet and helped to properly welcome the lost system to the galaxy-at-large, through a showcase of economic might. After a lot of effort the Anzatan Commonwealth and Tresario Star Kingdom had established a solid local government foundation and were openly embraced by the citizens of the Boonta system. During the process, the freedom forces of both parties created many neighbouring Free Economic Zones in order to prevent any additional geopolitical damage by the aggressive acts of the cancerous corporation.

The original plan was to realign the populations centers into connected provinces with deep community ties, but a plan of that magnitude took time. In that time the two friendly governments saw that their cultures, language, values, and ways of life were essentially one and the same. When the negotiations were over and the provincial organization plan was set in motion most of the citizens stayed as they felt that they had found governments with had the same common language, the same hymns and, more or less, the same ideals and values.

The leaders of the governments didn't ignore this unexpected result and after the successful rehabilitation of the system from the corporational exploitation, hunger and misery; they worked together to act as one and after months of structural and cultural preparations the two governments were ready.

The union was welcomed and many are still adjusting to the new prosperous way of life. The sudden increase of income and the new waves of population gave a massive economic boost to the markets while the new colourful cultures gave a new tone to the united populations thanks to the ministries of State and Culture as well as the leaders King Vatz and Chancellor Isard.

The King acknowledged the fine job that the Anzatan Ministry of Culture did and he adopted it as is for the Tresario Star Kingdom with a new vision under the the leadership of Sydney von Ismay and Okrim Rimdor. Both of whom will work to maintain the unique characteristics of the multiple cultures under the Tikiar banner, and  develop a shared-cultural foundation to for long-term future stability.

Now that the dust is settling down, one of the first multi-sector wide events are being organized by the Ministry of Culture with many Galactic, Regional and local music stars and bands. Such as the Desert Idle Monkeys, Jap Jap niece, Julianna Dewprey, Aza the rin  WoC ookie(old band), Ju de Priest, Grave in the Forest, the "An Ok mid Rim" band, cAr washing crush, Sid the Pirate Van  money-make, and many more.

xx Angel Magazine: A Star is Born
January 31, 2015, 01:03:55 pm by Sydney von Ismay

By Special Contributor: Quatar Shendo

Mainly known for her Year 12 rendition of Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes' “Mad About Me”, Julianna Dewprey has become the bright new star on the Tresarian music horizon, and is often called the "Queen of the Stars” by the Tresarian music industry. But the attractive 22-year old Human wants more.

“I want to inspire people and reach out to them and connect on a more personal level”, Julianna told us in an exclusive interview. While she has reached stardom all over the Kingdom and a lot of the mid-rim, her real aim is to become a phenomenon similar to what Michael Mickson had been in the late Year 5. She describes her own music as a mix of “Jazz, Neo-Rock and Anzatan Folk” that together becomes the energetic and pulsing ride of emotions she manages to convey in her songs. Just having gotten done with recording her newest Album “Breaking Reality”, the 1.75 meters tall female is now touring all over the mid-rim to promote her newest creation.

When talking about her early childhood in the city of Borrodain Falls on Ingo III in the Bortele Cluster, the singer most vividly remembered the “incredible amount of freedom I had”. For her, this freedom would lead her into a completely different direction than music at first. Her parents were mostly busy with work as a school teacher and as a owner of a small tavern chain, so she was free to do what she liked most of the time. “I wanted to become this great diplomat fighting for peace”, she reminisces about her late teen years, that she mostly spent discussing galactic politics with her best friends in an old unused hangar that was down her street back then. But it was to come differently.

After high school, Julianna was eager to start her study of Political Science, but after one year at the Planetary University of Ingo III, she realized that this was not the life she was looking for. The classes bored her and the prospect of having to spend 3 to 4 years after graduation running errands for the small-time local politicians before having any chance in the Diplomatic Corps of the Anzatan Commonwealth was too much for her. “Quitting college didn't make my parents very happy, especially my dad...”, Dewprey tells us, and goes on to explain that they expected their smart daughter to become a galactically renowned Diplomat.

For about a year, Dewprey kept afloat with small-time jobs, finally the expensive piano lessons her parents had made her take in her childhood paid off, as she managed to become a regular performer at “Mouse's Music Cafe” in downtown Borrodain Falls, a place she still likes to go to on her quiet days. For her, “this year was very hard”, since her parents had cut off her credit flow, forcing her to provide for herself for the first time. She found her way to singing through a coincidence: one day she was humming a tune she had played on the piano earlier on and an agent of the AMI label heard her.

From there everything “went quicker than I could grasp” for Julianna. She was signed by AMI and after her first Album “The Days of Remembering” was an instant hit with the crowds, time passed for her as in a blur: “I really don't know what happened, two years ago I was still working for tips at the Cafe downtown...”.

Today, the singer still lives in Borrodain Falls, although in a slightly larger apartment than before. She summarizes her connection to Ingo III and Borrodain Falls: “I really love the City and it's a honor for me to be able to perform at the Ingo III Festival of Flowers this year”

Julianna Dewprey's Breaking Reality is available wherever music is sold.

xx TNN: Toydarian Meat Festival: Meating of Culinary Minds
January 31, 2015, 12:27:06 pm by Sydney von Ismay

The Toydarian Festival of Meats as presented by Lallow Farms, begins next week on Toydaria and is expected to attract some 800 million people from across Tresario space and the galaxy-at-large. Famous for its gastronomic oddities like the nerf-encrusted deep-fried Quizzler stuffed with chocolate and the D`oemir Bear stuffed Corellian Sand Panther served on a crown roast of bantha and drizzled with liquified Chandrilian nerf cheese, this year’s festival is expected to see exciting creations and new fan favorites from the galaxy’s top chefs. Festival officials have announced that select vintage fan favorites of the past will make a surprise return this year, but no rumors have broken out concerning which fan favorites of decades past will be making an unexpected return.

Last year a relatively unknown amateur from Tatooine Piktit Niziz, a Jawa outcast from the Western Dune landscape clan, burst out onto the galactic stage after wooing the festival attendants with his Tatooine Dragon Stew. Piktit Niziz was able to turn his success at the Toydarian Festival of Meats into an empire of food, as he monetized his new fame into a line of prepackaged foods, a kid-friendly chain concept called Sandy Dunes Eateries, and began hosting a cooking show on the holonet’s Galactic Cuisines Channel. This year’s festival has seen a flood of registrations for food tents, as aspiring chefs hope to follow in Piktit’s footsteps and rocket into galactic fame. Piktit announced early last month that he would be attending the festival again this year, and serve another Tatooine inspired dish out of his Seltiss-2 Caravel barge turned mobile food barge. Since Piktit’s announcement, registrations have been flooding in for food barge permits at the festival and the festival staff have launched a separate food barge section of the fair as well as a cook-off competition.

The fan favorite chefs for the cook-off competition as we head into the festival are:
  • an Ithorian amateur Tush Caatarn who has wooed the fan base with his sustainable organic cuisine revival;
  • an Anzati master chef Mofeus Malazard who ironically is revered for his mastery of chilled soups, hot, savoury stews, and hot soups, though his recipe repertoire lacks the infamous Anzati soup;
  • a Selkath chef Charti Noytki who is known for his presentational flair and proficiency at serving dishes from across the oceanic and land spheres, with his most famous dish being Corellian Sea Ray Chowder;
  • an Ewok amateur known for his aptitude at roasting and of course his Nabooian Foxtail Roast.

Piktit’s fame has not only boosted attendance and excitement in the Toydarian Festival of Meats, but has peaked interests in the entire galactic festival season and the regional festival season in particular. Tresario space is set to host a number of high profile festivals over the remainder of the season including the Centares Wild Flixin Berries Festival, the Ingo III Festival of Flowers, and the Ket`alis Holofilm Festival. Registrations at the events have already doubled compared to last year, showing the resounding popularity of such cultural events. This festival season looks to be very promising, and many social calendars will likely be booked to accommodate these exciting cultural events.

xx TNN: Premier Lord Alto Rexar
January 21, 2015, 10:37:46 pm by guest17

The name and persona of Lord Alto Rexar has taken the Tresario news cycles by storm, after his recent appointment by King Vatz as Premier of Tresario. Lord Rexar, previously the Minister of Military Operations, became an inspiration to billions, after Weezy the Wookiee’s recently released biography, “Fight On: Alto Rexar’s Battle for Freedom”. Legendary author Weezy the Wookiee is well known as the eclectic founder and CEO of popular restaurant chain Weezy the Wookiees Wonderful Grub and for his best selling biographies and histories of famous Wookiees, Trandoshans, and their historical cycle of conflict and struggle. His biography of Lord Rexar became a fan favorite, for its ability to transcend specie differences and really showcase the real Alto Rexar’s life from birth to his rise to Premier.

Born into a highly prolific slaving family on Trandosha, enslaving others was the way of life. Trandosha, long known for the New Republic’s state sponsoring of the Slavery industry, was a hostile and hard childhood for Lord Rexar, but he broke the cycle with determination and hardwork to spring to starlight at his new found home in the Tresario Star Kingdom. With his appointment to Premier, Lord Rexar becomes the fifth Tresarian and the first Trandoshan to ascend to the office, following in the footsteps of legendary heroes of the Kingdom. Citizens across Tresario and the galaxy-at-large are inspired by Lord Rexar’s prolific career, since turning away from his planet’s life of crime and atrocities under the New Republic’s axis of evil.

Since taking office, Lord Alto Rexar has been a man of the people. Still eating at the same local restaurants, shopping at the same local stores, and still living in the same neighborhood. Even though his daily life hasn’t changed much, his vision and strategy for the future of Tresario is filled with change and new ideas. Recently Tresario News Network had the opportunity to speak to Lord Rexar about what the Tresarian people can expect to see, “a return to a vibrant and interactive leadership at the highest level, to fill the void that Premier Traner had left after his sudden leave almost half a year ago, and to assure the continuous, explosive growth of economic, political and military power throughout the whole Kingdom. From the day I joined TSK, until now, and hopefully for many years to come, I have always been trying to do my best, support and improve the Kingdom in any possible way. It wasn't the money, the medals or the titles that motivated me, it was the people of Tresario, this great community that we live in each and every day. Tresario has given so much to me and with each day that I live and serve I hope I can give something back, whether that be by hard work or assuming leadership. And none of that will change due to my appointment. First it was the Army, then the whole military and now I'm assisting His Majesty in leading the whole Kingdom. But neither my reasons nor my goals have changed. Conclusively, I want to thank the King, the Hall of Ministers and the People of Tresario for the trust they put in me and I can assure you that I will do anything I can to live up to these expectations and to show you that this trust is justified. Long live Tresario!”

To learn more about Premier Rexar and his life, purchase a copy of “Fight On: Alto Rexar’s Battle for Freedom” at wherever books and holo-books are sold. Read on for exclusive excerpt from the book.

“I must admit there have been dark and uncertain times, where even I played with the thought of leaving Tresario. Many Tresarians may remember the period during which TSK reached a critical situation, resulting in a sharp decline in the jobs report. A lot of my friends were gone, even one of my longest standing colleagues and brothers in arms left the Kingdom. But before throwing it all away, I reminisced. I thought back to all of the great memories I've made in Tresario and to all the Kingdom has done for me. Nowadays, only a few will remember the Freedom Day celebrations we had about three years ago. It was a crazy time, a colorful mix of chatting, raffles, games, ceremonies and we all had so much fun. It was one of the best times of my life. And it was one of the best times Tresario has seen. And ultimately, it was my duty to do anything I could possibly do to ensure that Tresario will rise to new heights so that the Tresarian people would once again experience a golden age. At present, we are not quite there yet. But we're headed in the right direction to Tresario’s destiny with a renaissance of cultural rebirth. That day forward, I knew that I made the right choice.”

xx TNN: Bloc full of Bacon
January 21, 2015, 10:33:57 pm by guest17

Commodity trading in Maltorian Bacon reached an all-time high today as Maltok Foods announced that they have become the official bacon provider for the massive government agency Tresario Food Services. This is the second big win for the Maltorian Bacon Industry and their Chief Lobbyist Howard “Big Hal” Frietz in the past month, after Lallow Farms secured the bid to be the Presenting sponsor for the Toydarian Festival of Meats. This upward trend in Maltorian Bacon prices isn’t an isolated event, but rather an after effect of the recent political changes.

The recent merger of the Anzatan Commonwealth and the Tresario Star Kingdom has seen the restrictions on the flow of capital disappear as investors pursue new opportunities in once heavily controlled foreign markets. Investors have strong confidence in the merged government, as stock in major companies of both governments have skyrocketed following announcements of heavy investments in these new emerging markets with large middle class populations, with stocks in the Retail and Financial Services Industries leading the pack.

Entrepreneur and celebrity chef Raphael Carleaux, known as the famed Anzatan owner of such popular eateries as the posh Green Lake Tavern, the themed Mutiny Pirate Bar and Island Grille, and the chic-nouveau Red Rhino Bistro, which all have received the highly coveted Golden Spork Award of Galactic Chef’s Association, appearing on the daily afternoon news show Tresario Tea at Three commented on the influx of new consumers, “My dinner business has really taken off as citizens from Tresario crown worlds like Colsassa and Forscan III venture into the Maldrood and Bortele Cluster to experience new aspects of Tresario culture and life”.

This new economic boom hasn’t been limited to the retail and consumer goods industry through, tax havens throughout the Maldrood and Bortele Cluster have seen a heavy influx of capital as Investors from other Tresario sectors seek to pay little or no tax. Muun finance magnate Thunk Kurnek, the principal of Bright Skies Hedge Fund and the Martel Tax Advisors Group has seen a heavy stream of new clients looking to take advantage of the free economic trade zones throughout the former Commonwealth space, and is optimistic about the future of the economic powerhouse that is the Tresario Star Kingdom.
